third attempt today:
nether portal at -304,,-135 (over -2481,,-1163)
and it's almost hugging a bastion!
and another at -387,, 159. but looking for a fort. Didn't touch this treasure bastion.

another bastion, looking north from my walk east. This is probably the pos pos I was hoping for a fort in.
still traveling east on the south side. Will go back soon, same path I think.
Well that was crazy. found a fortress eventually, died, refound it, died, and ...
